Photos from Yakima’s March for Justice

More than 200 people turned out for Yakima’s March for Justice, escorted by Yakima Police from Southeast Community Center to downtown Yakima, and the Civil Rights program which followed at Millennium Plaza on Wednesday evening, September 16. Speakers included local NAACP President, Pastor Willie Pride, Pastor Robert Trimble, Ms. Ester Huey, Avery & Jasmine Garner, Rev. Ken Jones, Steve Mitchell, Pastor Isai Macias, Pastor Cheryl Rohret.  Sophia Tilley blessed the crowd in song, with the National Anthem and “A Change Is Coming,” then she led the Anthem of the Movement, “We Shall Overcome.”
